Data Description: The City of Cincinnati offers a Community Reinvestment Area (CRA) abatement program to companies and developers building or renovating a residential, commercial, industrial, or mixed-use facility in cases where the new or renovated facilities will result in job creation.

This dataset includes commercial tax abatements, grants, sales of City properties, tax incentives, tax increment financing (TIF), and loans issued by the City of Cincinnati.

Data Description: The National Fire Incident Reporting System (NFIRS) is a reporting standard that fire departments nationwide use to uniformly report on the full range of fire department activities. This dataset encompasses all fire incidents reported to NFIRS that were responded to by the Cincinnati Fire Department in the year 2017.

Data Creation: NFIRS was created in 1976 to address the United State’s fire problem and is jointly managed by the U.S Fire Administration (USFA) and the National Fire Information Council (NFIC). Over the life of the system, all 50 states, more than 40 major metropolitan areas, and more than 15,000 fire departments have participated in NFIRS. Data Description: Emergency Communications Center Calls are records captured for each call. The call data does not contain the nature of the emergency or dispatched resources. For dispatch data reference Police Calls for Service (CAD) or Cincinnati Fire Incidents (CAD).

Data Creation: This dataset includes both emergency (911) and administrative calls to the center. To obtain just emergency (911) calls filter for Call Type = 911.

Data Created By: The source of this data is the City of Cincinnati's Call System that was provided by Cincinnati Bell.

Refresh Frequency: This dataset contains calls from January 1, 2013 through December 14, 2017. On December 14, 2017 the Emergency Call Center transferred to a new phone system and the remainder of 2017 was captured in that system. Additionally, for a portion of 2014, around May, operations were temporarily transferred to the back-up location and call records were not captured.

The Auditor Books and Pages layer shows the boundaries of the Hamilton County Auditor's Tax Maps Book and Page. These maps act as an index to show property (parcels) throughout Hamilton County, Ohio. The Book numbers correspond to the villages, cities, and townships in the county and are further subdivided into page numbers for each distinct map.
Up until the advent of G.I.S. technology these individual maps were maintained by the Hamilton County Engineer in large books.
Each property in Hamilton County is assigned a parcel number. The first characters of a parcel number reflect the Book and Page to which it belongs.

Bus stops along SORTA bus routes in the city of Cincinnati, Norwood, Saint Bernard, Columbia Township, and partially Hamilton County. Stop buses names, and line names are available in the attribute table. Inbound and Outbound information is also available.

Cincinnati Hillside Overlay Districts layer displays hillside areas where the existence of a 20% slope, is combined with the KOPE geologic formation. The Hillside Overlay District states regulations are necessary to establish standards to assist in the development of land and structures in existing hillside areas so that development will be compatible with the natural environment and respect the quality of the urban environment in those locations where the hillsides are of significant public value as determined by the City policy as outlined in the document “A Hillside Protection Strategy for Greater Cincinnati”, 1991.
