Building Footprints are polygon features representing photogrammetrically captured building outlines. The building footprints are rough approximations of buildings. They they do not show the exact footprint.
The current version of building footprints are based on aerial photography taken in Spring of 2011. Updates are made for significant structures as needed from digitized development plan approvals and notifications of demolitions until the next aerial flyover. The Building Footprints layer contains building structures including mobile homes, garages, water storage tanks and known underground building features.
New building footprints based on aerial imagery taken in Spring of 2017 will be available in April, 2018.

The Hamilton County Zip Codes layer displays the zip codes of Hamilton County.

This layer displays Urban Overlay Districts in the city of Cincinnati. This layer helps to protect and enhance the physical character of selected business districts that have adopted Urban Design Plans, and ensures that infill development does not adversely affect the physical character of the area. Fifteen Urban Design Overlay Districts are displayed in this layer.

Bus stops along SORTA bus routes in the city of Cincinnati, Norwood, Saint Bernard, Columbia Township, and partially Hamilton County. Stop buses names, and line names are available in the attribute table. Inbound and Outbound information is also available.

The Street Centerlines layer is a series of lines (or polylines) digitized along the center of streets. These lines connected at intersections creating a street network. Each line carries attributes for the street name, address range, road class, jurisdiction and other data items.

Street centerlines are one of the most fundamental and useful G.I.S. layers. There are many applications that require accurate and comprehensive street centerlines datasets.
Main applications:
Networking (routing, navigating etc.)
Geocoding - assigning a geographic location to an address based on the address ranges stored in the street data.

Cincinnati Hillside Overlay Districts layer displays hillside areas where the existence of a 20% slope, is combined with the KOPE geologic formation. The Hillside Overlay District states regulations are necessary to establish standards to assist in the development of land and structures in existing hillside areas so that development will be compatible with the natural environment and respect the quality of the urban environment in those locations where the hillsides are of significant public value as determined by the City policy as outlined in the document “A Hillside Protection Strategy for Greater Cincinnati”, 1991.

This layer displays Pre-School and K-12 Hamilton County Schools. There are 22 School Districts in Hamilton County, and each school falls within one of these districts.

The Zoning Designation layer displays Zoning in the city of Cincinnati, Anderson Township, Blue Ash, Cheviot, Colerain Township, Columbia Township, Crosby Township, Forest Park, Green Township, Harrison Township, Lockland, Miami Township, Montgomery, North Bend, Norwood, Springfield Township, Sycamore township, Symmes Township. The Rural Zoning Commission (RZC) serves the Board of County Commissioners by administering and enforcing zoning in four townships, or parts thereof, and by providing contract services to a number of townships and villages in Hamilton County.

This layer represents the boundaries of the 2000 Census Block Groups in Hamilton County. This layer hardly ever changes. Census blocks, the smallest geographic area for which the Bureau of the Census collects and tabulates decennial census data.
